Reasons for choosing Rebtex SisalSisal fibres ara a product of 'Agave Sisalana',the spikey leaved sisal plant. The long silky white fibres are first dyed and then combed and blended before being spun into yarns. These richly coloured yarns are then woven into a range of intricate weaves including 8 Boucles,5 Herringbone and 3 Panamas. Rebtex are proud to supply the only sisal in the world to be treated with 'fibre guard protector' before weaving,the yarn is coated with fiber guard to repel both solid soiling and liquid spill's. By applying this stain inhibitor during the dying process a stronger bond is made as it coats every fibre,giving a more effective and longer lasting protection. The advatage to the customer is that liquid based spill's bead on the surface allowing precious moments to blot them up before they have a chance to become stains,giving peace of mind when using sisal.
